    1. Spolier Alert Do not read unless you ve read the previous two books in the Living With The Dead series If you re familiar with some of my recent reviews, you ll know I m a big fan of the Living With The Dead series So I was very excited to sink my teeth into no zombie pun intended Eat Slay Love by Jesse Petersen and read it in just a few days.Picking up where Flip This Zombie left off, Sarah and David are making their way to the Midwest wall in hopes of passing off the vial of the cure they ve [...]

    2. This was excellent I have come to enjoy the humor in this book and the witty comebacks A secure ready that you will finish in one sitting Now that David has been bitten and cured by a zombie they are on their way to deliver the cure Sarah is upset because David seems fine but he is super strong as a side effect I am glad that their marriage was saved by the Apocalypse I found the TV reporter a tad annoying, but I loved the addition of the rock star So funny They run into another cult could you i [...]

    4. This one had all the potential to get crazy Only just never really did for me Now, that said, there is enough here to continue with the series for me I just felt a bit disappointed with this one I thought that it fell back on some of the weaknesses from the first book.

    5. In Flip This Zombie David and Sarah fight off bionic zombies created by the evil Dr Kevin who regardless of his reasoning behind creating these super zombies also managed to invent a cure or vaccine maybe for the zombie infection Since the Zombie Apocalypse went down, there have been rumors about the Midwest Wall WIN that means I m safe Sarah and David are slowly making their way toward the Wall, with the zombie cure hoping that it actually exists In route to the Wall, they happen across Nicole [...]

    6. 3.5 StarsI really enjoyed the first book in the series, Married with Zombies and thought it was a unique take on the genre s leading characters Dave and Sarah are married you see, and just before the zombie apocalypse they were on the verge of divorce But nothing brings you together than the world around going to shit and Sarah and Dave found their love for one another growing again, and surprisingly they made a pretty good team. However, with the second book Flip the Zombie the humour was missi [...]

    7. I knew nothing about Jesse Petersen, nor had I ever heard of this book I didn t know her style, what she wrote about, or anything else she had written.Ten pages into Eat Slay Love and I was absolutely kicking myself that I had not discovered her earlier What the heck had I been doing that I was completely oblivious to this funny, witty, absolutely delightful series about a married couple living through the zombie apocolypse This is the third book in the Living with the Dead series, and as soon a [...]

    8. A series where each new book is better than the last. The Living with The Dead series should be a sitcom It d be the anti The Walking Dead I don t know what it is about these books, be it the current pop culture references or that Shaun of the Dead Zombieland kind of feel, but I really like them The lines are genuinely funny, there s plenty of action and zombie gore, and it s a perfect length for this kind of story In short, it certainly packs a punch or in this case, a shotgun If you want a depa [...]

    9. This is the third and last book in the Living With The Dead series by Jesse Petersen And after enjoying the hell out of the other two, I couldn t wait to get stuck into this one.Sarah and David now have a new mission they ve got the zombie cure and are making their way towards the Wall to make sure it gets into the right hands Sure, there might not even be a Wall, but it s worth the effort So they continue to trek across the country, stumbling on other survivors along the way Here, they meet up [...]

    10. The first two books were a little frustrating to read to say the least the whole time instead of being the lead it was like sarah was playing back up for David She always gets caught or pinned by zombies and ALWAYS needs help The whole time say I m no longer squeamish then turns around and acts squeamish Or I m no longer surprised by zombies Then turns around and gets surprised and nearly bitten like she just started fighting instead of months under her belt AND always has excuse after axcuse of [...]

    12. Eat, Slay, Love is the perfect continuation of Flip this Zombie The story automatically picks up from where it left off with David just barely being saved from becoming a zombie himself. The same funny comments that I ve become to expect from Jesse Petersen did not disappoint either however, I do wish that she would change up the story a bit It s always keep heading towards the Wall, pick up supplies, kill some zombies, find some weird random human that will eventually die, find crazy people and [...]

    13. At the end of the second Married With Zombies novel, Flip This Zombie, the unthinkable happened during a fight with a zombie, Dave was bitten on the hand Fortunately it happened at a secret research facility headed up by a mad scientist and Sarah showed up in the nick of time with a cure to the infection Now, armed with a vial of the cure, which they hope can be used to end the Zombie Apocalypse, they travel to what may only exist as a legend The Midwest Wall, beyond which people are said to sti [...]

    14. Humorous and scary at the same time, a real zombie adventure This book takes you places you never hope to see and it does it with a sense of humor The main characters are a couple just out of couple therapy, full of witty comments and love for each other.Dave and Sarah race across the US to reach the safe zone in Illinois The world has been eaten by brain craving zombies They shot, cut and blow there way along their path meeting some a few unique characters along the way My favorite being a drug [...]

    15. Loved this book Jesse Peterson does the Zombie Genre very well Her splash of humor makes me snort with laughter Highly recommend this entire series, can t wait for the next one.

    16. The I read of this author the I enjoy I love this zombie series and eagerly waiting the next installment

    17. Warning This review may contain spoilers for the previous books of this series.Dave and Sarah have the cure and are on the road to the rud Midwest Wall, hoping to deliver the cure to government scientists Along the way, they run into Nicole Nessing, a reporter from a TMZ type TV show Of course, it hasn t been broadcasting during the apocalypse but Nicole is still filming She thinks that when this is all over will it ever be over , she ll get rich off of all the footage she s shot This makes her [...]

    18. I downloaded it from the Nook store on my tablet because I had to know what happens next in the series, my personal review of the book is as follows I really liked the main characters as well as the character development between them both together and individually The plot twist that happens around the middle of book confused me personally it just felt a little bit unrealistic I know that it s a zombie themed storyline I do plan on reading the next book in the series as soon as I finish finished [...]

    19. I loved it so much I was disappointed when I got to the end and realised there was no to read super awesome story.

    20. 3 StarsWhy I Like the Zombie TV, Movies, and Fiction that I do Like I m not really a horror fan Serial killers and psychopaths with hatchets I can take or leave Vampires and werewolves etc are ok, but I like them as part of a romance or some sort of mystery to be solved very girlie, yes, I know The zombie stuff I like tends to have a lot of humor Zombie Land, the first 2 books in this series I also like the books etc that deal with unique and interesting solutions to the day to day survival iss [...]

    21. Sum It Up Jesse Petersen s Eat Slay Love is a fictional novel set in the United States after the events of a zombie apocalypse We follow Sarah and David on their journey as they push themselves to their physical and emotional limits while avoiding being torn apart by hordes of zombies As they travel across the country in search of the safety of the Midwest Wall, David and Sarah will run into obstacles than just the living dead which will test the bond between them and their trust of others In a [...]

    22. Well, I enjoyed this zombie trilogy about a husband and wife zombie slaying team It was zombie light but still filled with plenty of grossness, blood, goo and death and destruction and lots of humor Read them in order, a nice check to see if you like zombie fiction or a good break away from all the mayhem of the hardcore stuff.

    23. 25. A further month after the events of Flip This Zombie, Eat Slay Love details life after Dave s zombie bite and subsequent cure It worked Dave is still in one piece, he s just a little different And people are starting to notice In particular, one stalkerazzi reporter, Nicole, who they meet She ends up being a little useful than expected on their way to the Midwest Wall to share the cure with somebody who could do some good with it and of course, finally, safety. Now that I ve read the series up t [...]

    26. Sarah and David have been through a lot together the zombie apocalypse, bionic zombies, mad scientists, backstabbing people, killing their zombie therapist, the list goes on David was actually bitten by a zombie, but they administered a cure in the nick of time and he seepyms fine They still have a vial of the cure and hope to take it over the fabled Wall in the east Things are going along as normal as can be in the zombie apocalypse until David starts behaving strangely He suddenly has superhum [...]

    27. I got an eGalley of this book through NetGalley dot com This is the third book in the Living with the Dead series I really enjoyed this book and thought it was the best in the series so far The book is hilarious and lots of fun, but in this installment there is also a complicated and intriguing plot too Petersen isn t contacted for any books in this series, but has said she might consider self publishing in the future Shambling in the Dead was recently released and that is a short story set in [...]

    28. I found this series to be hilarious with the right amount of snarky and attitude Since I listened to most of the books as an audiobook, I really liked the lady who did the reading She definitely added the right tone for Sarah s sarcastic attitude and Dave s winning personality. These books reminded me a little of Resident Evil with a dose of comedy and a little less on the bad assery clothes Plus I really liked how in the first book, you can see the falling out on Sarah and Dave s marriage yet wh [...]
