Even though I ve been veg for 7 years, tofu still remains a bit of a mystery to me Aside from frying it or baking it, I don t cook with it often and that s mainly because I don t really know what to do with it most of the time So, although this book is a bit of an oldie, it still looks like it has some great recipes I just got this from the library today and have just browsed through it so far but the pictures look delicious so I hope to learn some tofu tricks Very simple and basic recipes that [...]

This book is kind of creepy awesome just because the food photographs remind me of those 1950s jello weight watchers disgusting weird food photos The lighting is unflattering and there are random pickles and olives shoved in strange colored dips And this cookbook isn t even 10 years old which makes me wonder if they just used a really bad camera or were deliberately going for a vintage look.But I digress This cookbook is okay, but probably unnecessary if you already have lots of vegan cookbooks [...]

    3. I love that the recipes in this book are simple and don t request a lot of strange expensive ingredients I have most of these ingredients on hand or they are easily found at a grocery store.
