    1. I Want to be Happy Charmayne Ellis is everything that a lot of people would like to be Attractive, intelligent, kind hearted, a Christian with a good job Charmayne is tired of everyone thinking that she needs a man in her life in order to be complete Although, she s overweight, she still feels like she should have a man of her choosing Not that she needs a man to be complete, some companionship would be nice The pastor s wife along with her best friend, keep trying to set her up The men they sel [...]

    2. I think this is probably one of the few books I have rated 5 5 and that s because it certainly deserves it Charmayne is an overweight girl in her late 30s, she is single, emotionally detached from her mother and only sister because of their constant negative assertion of her.Charmayne is surrounded by practicing Christians, she herself is a devout worshipper of Jesus Accepting pre marital affairs as sin in her religion, she and her fellow church mates refrain from any such relationships and pray [...]

    3. Glass,Charmayne Ellis loves the Lord and HE loves her She s an educated woman with a good job A loving daughter and a great friend, Char finds that she s still lonely at the end of the day Happy that her best friend, Lynette, is getting married, she can t help but to feel somewhat jealous It also doesn t help that her best friend is determined to set her up on blind dates that make her believe Lynette herself may be blind When Travis Moon, a janitor at Grace Savings and Loan, the bank where she [...]

    4. One of the 1st books I read from Tiffany L Warren and I was hooked I could relate to the realness of her main character I hated where the main character went, but I was so glad she found her way back

    5. I love Tiffany L Warren This was sort of a different style of writing, with moving from the past and present and slowly revealing all that had happened Different but it kept my interest, as I could not wait to finally know all that transpired between Travis and Charmayne It is very true that most women and men overlook a lot of warning signs when in a relationship that they really want But God can redeem the time you lost and heal your pain Good story

    6. 3.5 This book was really a reflective novel from a woman who was taken to the edge of sanity and brought back with spirituality Charmayne knew in her heart something just wasn t right with the fine and debonair maintenance worker at the bank she worked She was president and he asked her out despite their obvious status divide Travis was what some like to call an opportunist I refer to them as predators because they prey on women who lack self esteem and tell them whatever it is they know no one [...]

    7. I wish I could put this book in the hand of every sister who is naming and claiming that this will be the year that they will get a husband In this book Charmayne starts out saying she will trust God to send her a husband, however when a fine man gave her some attention and claimed to be in a ministry she stopped listening to God and everyone else who did not agree with her choices It was not until close to the end of the book that I understood the title of the book, because Charmayne stop trust [...]

    8. This was the first book I had read by this author and the next time I go to the library I will be looking for by her Her style of writing and the storyline itself made the book an easy one to read despite the heaviness of the topics involved I would have liked to see the story detailed , maybe the Travis character developed some to make his deception a little believable Overall though, I thought it was a great book.

    9. This author gave me a awaking for the word of God I knew my faith was good with the power of God s word, but after reading this story I now understand that when he brings you out of a situation it s because he loves you If you decide to return to that trail you have to pay the price even if you believe it s in good faith Great read

    10. This book was written from a chapter out of my life Insecurities can be anything from physical appearance to financial status but not limited to We can make choices because we want to be accepted The message is clear and succinct I recommend anyone who has been on either side of the fence to read this book Baggage can stop dreams but there is power in forgiveness Amen.

    11. No matter now high up your penacle, you can still be brought low by your own insecurities The moral of this story is you can still do something good in the world when you ve had a great fall I liked this book very much

    12. It was amazing to see Charmayne s transformation and healing in this book The references to to the bible were also subtle but so refreshing to read This was my second time reading this book but I got from it this time Excellent read.

    13. Awesome book The power of a healthy self image obedience to God s voice is imperative to a successful life Love the message so muchw I am in the process of purchasing books from this author This is a must read

    14. This book was good I could relate to the main character who struggles with weight and romance It reflects some of the issues faced by women who are faced with self esteem challenges I would recommend it.

    15. It was ok I got the essence of the story and this does happen in real life Something, I just don t know what was missing for me.

    16. I really enjoyed this book and could relate to the main character Charmayne Being single is not a curse and we need to wait on God to send us the spouse that He has for us.
