    1. For an interview this wasn t too bad Still, I think I would have been better off just reading some Bukowski I m not trying to do anything scholarly so I don t know why I keep looking at these interviews and biographies Better to just go back and read the Bukowski I ve already read That isn t to say that this book isn t a good read, but it really wasn t for me.

    2. This book is 50% the interview and 50% introduction presentation of Bukowski s books I did not find out anything new about Bukowski except for the fact that he hated working 8 hours per day I laughed with his wisdom a couple of times, but that was it The interview is rather confusing at some parts The truth is Bukowski was real in his books, after all most of them if not all are autobiographical And it is better to read his books than this.

    3. I have lost a bit of my mind to Charles Bukowski So this one gets read over and over again, in times there s a dire need for Buko You can almost hear him speak.

    4. As I consider myself a big fan of Charles Bukowski s works, I thought and hoped this book would reveal some things I hadn t known about him It turned out that most of the things in the interview I ve already learned from reading Bukowski s books I enjoyed reading that one anyway mostly thanks to Bukowski s lines it s just that I expected a bit .
