    1. 3.5 Stars There was something that called to me when I read the blurb to this book I don t know exactly what it was, but I am glad I picked it up Darla is a single mom whose baby daddy love of her life re enters her life Her love for her daughter has shaped who she is and the direction her life has taken She was a well defined character with some pretty awesome friends While one good conversation with Theo could ve avoided a whole lot of drama, it seems she was not quite there Theo was definitel [...]

    2. Wow Did not expect the twists and turns in this one Communication or the lack thereof totally decimated Theo and Stella s lives Secrets always seem to be revealed at the worst time At times I laughed with Darla and her crazy friends and then a few pages later, cried when Darla and Theo came close to losing everything they loved Awesome story

    3. I received this book for free to review All opinions are my own.So Left Hanging by Cindy Dorminy is a contemporary romance about Darla Battle, a young single mum living in Tennessee She works as a nurse and before then, had next to no connection with her daughter Stella s father I enjoyed the novel It was very enjoyable and cutesy and imaginative What I love about the writing in this novel is that it really evokes your emotions I loved crying a little, smiling a little and even getting a little [...]

    4. I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of LEFT HANGING, provided by publisher Red Adept Publishing and author Cindy Dorminy I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet romance Seven years after an uncharacteristic one night stand in college, Theo and Darla find themselves working at the same hospital in Nashville Theo is wiggling his way out of a bad relationship and desperately wants to reconnect with Darla She s hesitant because, unbeknownst to Theo, he has a daughter Darla s daughter, Stella This lovely bo [...]

    5. This story is like quicksand, pulling you in without you realizing until you re in so deep that your happiness is tied to the characters You will only make it if they do.Left Hanging is a sweet romance with an emotional grip that won t let go I really enjoyed how Ms Dorminy used the technical aspects of their jobs in the medical field in a deeper way than most without feeling like I was reading a medical textbook It was just enough to make the setting vivid.I laughed and cried with these charac [...]

    6. What a page turner this book was I was hooked from the first scene when heroine Darla makes a love connection with an adorable pre med student named Theo at a frat party Fast forward seven years to an unexpected meeting between the two at a hospital in Nashville where they both now work Theo is thrilled to see his college crush again, but Darla is not interested in taking any trips down memory lane with him She s still harboring a lot of angst and bitterness over the fact that Theo knocked her u [...]

    7. Darla and Theo are characters that you truly root for I loved them And all I wanted was for them to have a happily ever after Their relationship is tragic and heartbreaking, but at the same time it s beautiful and hopeful The misunderstandings that occur are so heart wrenching, but when the truths are revealed, it eases that balm But with these two, their families and friends, they all round out a great group of characters I especially liked Darla s friends Shelby and Issac They bring even humo [...]

    8. Thank you to Red Adept and author Cindy Dorminy for allowing me the chance to preview an ARC of LEFT HANGING I love books about life coming full circle, and that s exactly what Cindy delivers with her new release When Darla finds out she s working with her daughter s long lost father at a Nashville hospital, she realizes the feelings she had for Theo are not dead and buried This is a fun, romantic read that delivers all the feels

    9. Left Hanging, Cindy DorminyReview from Jeannie Zelos book reviewsGenre Romance, Women s fictionSometimes I want a solid, absorbing fantasy read and others something lighter Yesterday was one of those so this book was what I chose It fills that Lighter tag perfectly, being a sweet romance, great characters and a story that feels quite light and fluffy and then.ends into some serious drama, showing another side to al the characters and having some amazing emotion to it I really liked the character [...]

    10. I have previously read Tuned in to You Review Here by this author so when Cindy approached me with her next book I was delighted to read and review Now I expected a light hearted sweet young romance which to a certain degree I got but there is so much depth to this story I was very impressed at the way my emotions were toyed with.It has such pleasant characters that you can t help but like them and whichever way you view it one or the other is always pulling at your heartstrings.Darla and Theo [...]

    11. LEFT HANGING is the perfect mix of humor, drama, and sexy A fun, well paced read that keeps you turning pages to the very end Darla is quirky and shy and strong and loving and every other adjective you can think of to describe a badass single mom taking on the world Her love for her daughter is on every page, Darla s every motivation, and her fierce overprotective nature is the catalyst for the main rift between her and Theo, the sexy, green eyed Doc who shows back up in her life after seven yea [...]

    12. left hanging is a little different then what I m used to and I seriously enjoyed it Darla and Theo shared a night before college graduation Romeo and Juliet lost track of each other and now 7 years later are brought face to face again Darla has a secret though that night gave her the one thing she will never regret Stella Theo is a likable character and darla is a strong woman who made the best of her situation Together they make a cute couple, but I liked the end It brought the book to a happy [...]

    13. This book was fantastic It was funny and sad and lot of jokes Loved how the family came together I did not want to stop reading

    14. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review This book was an incredibly creative and beautiful take on a second chance love story It was well written, and had great main characters Darla and Theo have a complicated history, and while they originally fell in love at first sight, the author takes time to develop their romance the second time around I really enjoyed this gem, and would easily recommend it to contemporary romance fans 4.5 5

    15. Frankly its not my first time reading a book with story plot As a wattpad reader, you ll find a number of book just like this though what makes the difference is the writing I liked how author conveyed the plot in a different way The ending was nerve wrecking I didn t expected that Being a medical student myself, I was pleased with the choice of author and how she described medical terms and conditions not the other way round Its a good novel for someone with contemporary love and would love to [...]

    16. A different kind of romance, Left Hanging keeps the reader entwined eager to find out what will happen From the first introduction to the characters, to fast forward seven years when so much can happen to any persons life This is a story of hidden secrets, and the unaccountable attraction that still remains years later As the story alternates between each persons stories, you get a sense of conflicting emotions, their lives, the complications It is a story many of us can relate to, and of taking [...]

    17. I enjoyed Left Hanging by new to me author Cindy Dorminy This book is well written, the characters are engaging, and the emotional details are perfectly aligned with the plot I was a little surprised by the religious element, since nothing was mentioned in the book blurb.Darla Battle is doing a wonderful job raising Stella, her six year old bundle of joy Her work as a nurse is fulfilling, however, making ends meet is a struggle at times After six years of no communication, Darla runs into Stella [...]

    18. FOUR STAR REVIEW Judging a Book by it s Cover Cute Cover Cute synopsis Looking Deeper POV Alternating first person. At the last frat party of their senior year, two star crossed lovers finally meet and a child is conceived A series of miscommunications occur and Juliet aka Darla is left to single handedly raise Stella for nearly seven years Romeo aka Theo returns home and bumps into the girl that got away, the one he fell in love with at first sight The concept and premise of this story were stro [...]

    19. Ohhhh, I loved this book All those wonderful and meddling Edwards and all their friends, all those people who help and support Theo and especially Darla and well, I must say that I was so happy when I found that the reason why, was not the obvious one but just one of those things, you know One of those stupid things that just happen As I said there are so many really wonderful characters in this book, I really loved them Alright, that doesn t mean that I like Theo s girlfriend, like, at all, but [...]

    20. A sweet romantic read drenched in emotion and real life dilemmas.Darla is a nurse and single mum, but when one of the hot new doctors everyone is talking about turns out to be the father of her child who ignored their existence from the moment he found out she was pregnant , things get a little complicated Especially when he s acting like he wants to reconnect and doesn t seem to know he s a fatherThe writing was pacy of the kind that makes you want to keep reading even when you ve heard the sto [...]

    21. I requested this book because the blurb caught my attention Darla and Theo are soulmates that life dealt a crappy hand She was the wallflower He was the geeky kid with diabetes But what Darla saw was the most amazing man The got together only to be torn apart by a fire and not exchanging names Enter the villian, Darla s roommate Mallory I have never disliked a characters so much Trying to keep Theo for herself Darla is forced to raise her daughter without a father 7 years later they meet Darla s [...]

    22. LEFT HANGING was a delightful read This book brings you face to face with Darla, a nurse and single mother, who is shocked to her core when one of the new doctors at her hospital is none other than her baby daddy and the man she fell in love with in college after just one intense night spent together Without going into a full on synopsis of the book, Darla quickly realizes that he has no idea he s a father, even though she had corresponded with who she thought was him shortly after graduation an [...]

    23. I received an arc in exchange for an honest review So, this book was definitely not for me, unfortunately I was drawn to it as I naturally love single parent romances However, all the ex drama is a big no for me The writing was great, so take my review as a matter of opinion on whether or not you read this I simply don t like ex drama in my romances Otherwise this was a good book

    24. Originally reviewed for Chick Lit Central chicklitcentral Darla and Theo s story had me hooked right from the beginning, primarily because Cindy Dorminy has created characters that are easy to invest in When the two meet, spending one unforgettable night together, I wanted to know what that experience would do to them, and for them And it felt like a very relatable situation Many of us have thrown caution to the wind, done a few things that go against our character, much like Darla and Theo had [...]

    25. 26. 3.5 stars This was a book that was full of emotions It is a romance that tackles some very real ish points of life Darla is a single mother who has an amazing daughter She has worked hard to give her daughter every opportunity and all the love she can give The one thing she hasn t been able to give her is her father. That is the part where it becomes complicated What should have been the start of a beautiful relationship turns into a one night stand when there an emergency that pulls the two apar [...]

    27. It had just the sort of premise I can t resist but the book fell a bit flat Theo s reasoning behind his relationship with Mallory was just so weak like he d been bullied into it except it went on for 7 years and he acted the whole time as if they were super casual And the love at first sight was weak because he wasted no time moving on to Mallory and so his feelings seemed very shallow and disingenuous I like the men I read about to be strong and know what they want and not make excuses for what [...]

    28. This story took me a little while to read it Once I got into the story, I found it to be a cute read There are some misunderstandings and supposed friend that keep this couple apart, but they eventually find their way back to one another I had some issues with this story, but overall, it was an okay read.I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

    29. LovelyI normally like to read dark, edgy romance but for some reason, this book captured my attentionI found the characters to be likeable.A few emotional, teary eyed moments Well written, very engaging and funny.5stars well deserved
