I like that this book is agnostic and exploratory and doesn t commit to a position on consciousness and the hard problem when in reality we don t know the answer It lays out some of the current ideas and some interesting neuroscience and some fun speculation but its tentative agnostic feel is much appreciated Sometimes you want to hear from a partisan but sometimes you appreciate a disinterested observer It has some interesting ideas which are shown but it isn t arguing for any particular outloo [...]
