I just started thisked the first chapter We ll see how it goes I have high hopes of changing my stars to 4 or even 5 And it s a 5 I think mostly because I love the characters setting, the way she has of evoking Seattle and all the little islands in the Sound Also very satisfying resolution to big dramatic complications for characters that I just fell in love with I have several KH titles from my mom, who is moving, so I ll be reading lots of her In fact, she may be the antidote to my slog thro [...]

    3. I m wondering if this was one of Kristen Hannah s early books It was entertaining, and the story was woven together fairly well, but the writing style was not as deep and mature as some of her recent novels I listened to it in the car and it kept me engaged, but not her best work.
