    1. I would like to thank Bookouture, Netgalley and the lovely Mr Nigel May for the copy of this highly addictive bookG, what happened there I can t comprehend the way Mr May weavered his magic in this lustrous novel The characters you just love to hate with their flash of money, lifestyle and men sex on tap I kinda guessed who the killer was, but there was shocks, laughs and even gasps along the way with this highly addicted pun intended novel.I can t wait to read from Mr May as he really does wri [...]

    2. From Downing Street to The Abbey and South Africa to the British Virgin Islands, this story takes you on a journey into a dangerous world of deception, duplicity and ultimately demise With its array of characters designed to draw readers into a world of fashion, operatics, politics and sex, this book, with its diverse themes and scenes, has something to suit most tastes. This was a complete random Kindle Unlimited one click for me I ve never heard of the author or his books but something drew me [...]

    3. Copy received from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.I generally avoid these type of stories because in such stories once you develop interest in one character s life, author moves to others and it s like cliffhanger feeling I don t enjoy that much But this is anything but like that I absolutely loved the story.I am hard to please person and I hardly give any novel 5 star but this one definitely deserves that It would have been 4 stars just to have 4 super characters in story but throw a [...]

    4. Addicted has all the features of a classic bonkbuster Some glamorous locations, reasonably rich or famous characters, a mystery that was hinted at in the prologue and lots of sex. This is a highly charged, fast paced book, featuring 4 main leading ladies Nancy, a washed out starlet, Lauren, a typical politician s wife, Martha, heiress to a wine empire in South Africa, and Portia, a superstar opera singer. At the star of the book, there is very little addiction to anything but as the story develops [...]

    5. 4 Easy to read, perfect for sitting at the beach, by the pool, in the sun in your garden Celebrities, idyllic locations, crime, gossip, sex, all characters intertwined.Like a modern Jackie Collins.

    6. Another read in for me in the NewAuthorForMe challenge. We are introduced to these 4 women Nancy Arlow Pretty much a has been actress pop singer Who is short of cash, and trying to find ways of making some And if i m honest she doesn t seem to care who get s in her way while doing so Lauren Everett the wife of a politician, who seem s seriously bored with home life Who once had a dream of being a singer Is it now too late to follow her dreams, without bringing her husband down Martha Eclair The d [...]

    7. Fame, fortune and five star luxury Meet four fabulous women all of them hold a dark secret one of them won t live to tell the tale Nancy Arlow the fading entertainer determined to gamble and charm her way out of a mountain of debt Laura Everett behind the fa ade of the perfect politician s wife lies a woman with an outrageous past and a spiraling drug habit Portia Safari the world famous opera diva, adored by millions, has it all, but could her secret drinking problem cost her everything Martha [...]

    8. I loved Trinity and I generally love Nigel s way with words so I had high expectations for this book Generally I enjoyed it the sex scenes were well written, appropriate in length and frequency and not cringe worthy in their description The interconnecting plots were engaging and as usual, Nigel s description of locations is wonderfully visual Before I go any further, firstly let me make it clear that this is a very enjoyable bonkbuster and secondly, there may be some spoilers in the next part I [...]

    9. I received a digital copy of Addicted from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.British smut at its finest This is reminiscent of Jackie Collins 80 s mega novels I absolutely adore fanciful tales of the mega wealthy, and mega talented jet setting around the world like the rest of us go to the corner market In the afterword of the digital edition, the author wants to know what characters you liked best I m Team Kelly all the way While a secondary character with a pivotal role within one of [...]

    10. I love a good bonkbuster, Jackie Collins and Rebecca Chance are my go to authors for this genre, so I was intrigued to read Addicted which is written by a man and I was not disappointed This book really was brilliantly written, I was hooked from the beginning I loved the characters, 4 very different women with 1 thing in common Addiction The story was fast paced and exciting and I couldn t put it down until I d turned the last page Addicted is a pure escapism read, it has all the ingredients of [...]

    12. Regular readers of my blog will know that my favourite author is Jackie Collins, and so when Bookouture signed Nigel May, and I read that he has been called the male Jackie Collins I was both excited and apprehensive to see how he would compare I have actually had Nigel s books on my TBR since starting the blog last year when he first came to my attention, so his signing was the perfect time to finally read his books.I was addicted to Addicted Seriously, it has everything you would want from a b [...]

    13. My reviewI love crime thriller but i also love bonkbusters Rebecca Chance and Victoria Fox are my favourites in this genre and i have recently bought my first book by the queen of bonkbusters Jackie Collins but i have never read a male version of bonkbuster so when i saw the Addicted cover reveal on twitter and seen that a male had written the book i knew i had to read it.Addicted is the perfect title for this book as not only have the woman in this book got different addictions, the reader gets [...]

    14. I received a complimentary copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest reviewd I want to be very honest with this review because I feel that Nigel May is a good writer and although there were some aspects I did not enjoy, overall I did enjoy this book and the Author s Writing style, just not the format Initially I was very excited to read this book I really liked the concept of having 4 main characters instead of 1 as that can sometimes get a little boring Each of the main characte [...]

    15. Thanks to Bookouture and Netgalley, I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest reviewFour women death, one killer.Getting clean is a dirty businessMeet Martha Eclair the wine heiress with a sex addiction that could destroy her father s wine business empire, Nancy Arlow the faded entertainer who also has a major gambling addiction, Portia Safari the operatic diva who is adored by millions but has a drinking problem that could cost her everything and Lauren Everett the politician s wife, [...]

    16. This is my first foray into this genre and I wasn t disappointed It had pretty much everything I usually want from a book and left me satisfied at the end.We start with a funeral but we don t know who has died We then rewind and follow the lives of the 4 main characters Nancy, Laura, Martha and Portia along with a whole host of other characters as their lives develop and intersect, culminating in the main event where the unfortunate one meets their demise. To be honest, about three quarters of th [...]

    17. Firstly thank you to Nigel and the girls over at Gosling Girls Book Tours for inviting me to review this book This is the first of Nigel s books that I ve read so I was excited to see what lay in store for me and I was really quite intrigued by the blurb The story is all about four women Each of them have been dealt a relatively good hand in life and from the outside look to be pretty fortunate but on the inside, behind closed doors all is not as it seems. The story stars with a VERY intriguing p [...]

    18. Don t let the strains of Ave Maria fool you This is no nuns story.Addicted is one horny ride, it is flirty, filthy oh and there is a murder. The main four women are all fabulous, from their manicured fingernails to their La Perla knickers This is the 80 s personified All Addicted to something, whether that be drugs, gambling or plain old alcohol These women are funny, rude, rich and fabulous. The sex scenes will make even the most frigid and puritanical of us aware that we are alive, and I suggest [...]

    19. This is the second book by the author I have read recently, and even now I would put his writing style into the same category as Jackie Collins. This is once again a story involving several different women whose lives become embroiled with each other through sometimes random coincidences. The twists and turns within this story are brilliant Just when you think you are figuring it out the author throws in a curve ball which has you trying to work out in your head what has just happened And this is [...]

    20. This is the second offering from TVs Nigel May and one which has been eagerly awaited by myself as I thoroughly enjoyed his debut offering, Trinity. This offering is completely different from the debut but the characters are clearly defined from the beginning, and the story develops rapidly but not too fast I liked the interweaving of the characters which made for a rather fantastic final 1 4 of the book I do not put spoilers in my reviews For a man, Nigel does write a believable sex scene, which [...]

    21. Addicted is totally addictive Be prepared to put everything else on hold when you read this book.Following the lives of four glam ladies who on the surface have it all, but scratch away and you ll see they are flawed and have their own demons. The book opens at a funeral, with an unknown character gloating they have gotten away with murder I worked out the murderer but the beauty of this book is, you change your mind about the victim all the way through. With compelling characters and twists all o [...]

    22. Sinful, wicked, crazy and the perfect summer read.I ve only read two books by Nigel May so far, but I have to say I m hopelessly addicted pun intended These books are like throwbacks to the over the top spellbinding books by Jackie Collins Fun, captivating and crazy from the first page to the last It s a book I couldn t put down, kept me entertained the whole way through, while it had me laughing and shaking my head in disbelief Awesome read, will read the other books by the author as well.

    23. I received a copy from the publisher for an honest review In all honesty this book was ok for me The characters Martha, Portia, Saul, Dale, Lauren, Nancy all of the rest were interesting with their various addictions The book just had a lot of unnecessary filler Some chapters were filled with the sane info that had been previously written or included information that didnt add excitement or interest in the rest of the book.

    24. Firstly I d like to thank the publisher Bookouture for an ARC of this book via Netgalley. This is not my usual genre but fancied a change from what I usually read I certainly wasn t disappointed. While this is a be easy read it it s keeps you interested It has the perfect mix of suspense, gossip, mystery and plenty of sex You need to read this book while relaxing on a beach or by a pool on holiday with a cocktail in your hand.

    25. I loved it The main characters are just so outrageous It flows really well and I wanted to find out about the characters.I loved all the elements, fashion, fun, travel etcI haven t read Trinity but I definitely will now, and looking forward to Scandalous Lies too.Well done Nigel, you sure are a male Jackie Collins.

    26. This is one of the first Nigel May books I ve read and I was pleasantly surprised The total premise of the book reminds of Jackie Collins and her glitz and glamour Hollywood novels The book features four main female characters and how their lives interact I personally love books and movies that feature strong female role models, so I will totally recommend this book to anyone

    27. This was a cheap book and the reviews were good, so I gave it a read It was a fun, page turning romp through the lives of the rich and famous and corrupt I normally like a pacey novel, but this one was almost too fast its speed meant it lacked depth and I didn t really care for the characters However, it is a fun read for the beach or a Christmas sofa

    28. I did enjoy this book It was a nice, easy read, with a much better story line than I was expecting If you fancy a light hearted read, with a added sauciness and a clever storyline, you wouldn t go far wrong picking up this book addicted nigelmay
