    2. Less cute than its predecessors, contrived Still amusing but teetering on the edge I m glad this is the last one, and I m not sure about reading the Sam wing of the series Opinions Wendy says yes, how about the rest of my kidlit coterie

    3. This was too kiddish I expected from the author of the Giver Anastasia is way too childish for an eighth grader In all honesty, she might be a first or second grader.

    4. Last book in the seriesThat feeling when you finish a really good series and wonder what you re going to do for the rest of your lifeAh, well, there s still that series about her brother

    5. The one where she puts poop in the mailbox and the bomb squad comes This one just didn t do anything for me.

    6. Anastasia accidentally puts a bag of dog poop in the mail rather than her mother s drawings. This is the last book of the Anastasia Krupnik series and I enjoyed them all Anastasia would have been someone I would have been friends with I like this gentler world where Anastasia is terrified she ll be arrested for mail tampering but still tells the post office what happens because she realizes it s the right thing to do.

    7. I honestly love all of the Anastasia books They are funny, and relatable, and real and great.Written many years after the last installment but still fits right in with the family and characters without missing a beat.

    8. Anastasia is growing up, but still a youngster Love how this book portrayed the responsibilities of taking care of a dog it was so cute The chapter endings were also clever in that we got to read Anastasia s homework answers The class she is taking has her answering morality questions, and her answers are delightful, and show her thought process in her decisions Overall, she is a caring person with some selfish desires Category juvie realistic fiction

    9. This review also appears on my blog, Read at Home Mom.Though there are still two books about the Krupnik family left after this one, Anastasia Absolutely is the last book of the series to star Anastasia as its main character Anastasia now has a new dog for whom she is primarily responsible One day, while walking the dog, she is meant to mail a package for her mother, but instead accidentally mails a small bag of dog waste When she realizes what she has done, Anastasia becomes convinced that she [...]

    10. Lowry returns to form with in the final book in her Anastasia series Anastasia gets a dog and mistakenly puts it s um droppings in a mailbox instead of the letter she intended to mail She feels guilty, of course, and struggles with whether to call the post office to confess At the same time, she is taking a course in Values and wrestles with questions like, If you could shave one day off the end of your life and by doing so save the life of a baby in China, would you Anastasia has always had an [...]

    11. I chose the book Anastasia Actually because the author Lois Lowry writes about a teen Anatasia is a junior she is learning how to make moral decisions Early one morning she went walking on a Cambridge street with her new dog and a pooper scooper She was walking to a mailbox to mail a package for her mom, but she was also carrying a bag of dog poop She made a mistake and mailed the bag of dog poop and not the package that her mom gave her.My opinion of the book Anastasia is that the book was a li [...]

    12. I gave 2 stars because there was a part that I enjoyed for 6 pages although I love the author and her other books,I don t like this book because feels so contrivedartificialmessage driven rather than thought provoking and questioningtoo righteousnot funnytoo slow paced andfeels redundantnot entertainingtoo much tellingnot really beautiful language or imagerycan t believe this girl is really 13 she is like 8 or 9n t feel that it was written from heart not heart feltedd most importantly, this book [...]

    13. Anastasia is finally a year older, but with age comes so many problems She s done the unthinkable committed a federal offense by tampering with the mail Of course it was an accident, but Anastasia doesn t know if the authorities will see it that way Then there s that annoying problem with her Values class in school too many scenarios and too many possibilities Maybe she is wishy washy after all The last in the Anastasia series was a bit disappointing The ploit wasn t that great and it wasn t as [...]

    14. this one didn t come out until late middle school for me, so it doesn t bring back those warm fuzzy feelings of nostalgiaybe that s why i didn t like it that muchso, it seems strangely preachy for an anastasia book always do the right thing and you might end up a hero and why did the spelling of sonya suddenly change to sonja and what happened to steve harvey and isn t it pretty sick that one of anastasia s teachers tells her he hates to see such a pretty girl looking so sad

    16. This Anastasia book came out a lot later than the rest so felt a little odd The earlier books sounded timeless this one fit in references to pop culture that seemed out of place I still love the Krupniks, but this isn t my favorite of the series.

    17. I liked this book because I like Anastasia She is smart, unique, brown haired, and has freckles What makes her unique is she has a three year old brother named Sam and she is thirteen She also has a house with a tower.

    18. I have been reading this 1980s series of books with my 13 year old daughter and we are having a lot of fun reading these together.

    19. I love the innocence and normality of the Anastasia books Of course, they are somewhat fluff, but there are many times when that is exactly what I want and, importantly, what kids want.

    20. This is one of my favorite of the Anastasia books I ve always been sorry there were not after this I d really love to see how Anastasia grew up.

    21. Ringan, sederhana, punya muatan nilai Begini sih enaknya baca buku anak And I absolutely like Anastasia series Thanks Lois Lowry.

    22. This was the first Anastasia book I read, and am only now realising it was the 9th in this fantastic series.
