    1. 4 Wake up to the truth Stars I can honestly say I have never read anything like Darkness Falls before, and I mean that in the good sense Sleep and dreams, are something that we all have in our lives and Erin Kellison has taken those two things and given them a uniquely dark and fictional spin. This is a weird one for me in that although I knew and understood exactly what was going on whilst I was reading it, trying to explain the book in a review is proving difficult A lot of the main plot points [...]

    2. No spoilers and colorful language abound I received this ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review Hm I ve got nothing Was it bad No Was it good Not even close It just happened, and as I ve begun typing this, I ve already started to forget everything Just another medicore book that will fade into the watery memories of books long dismissed Here is the skinny, Jordan and Maisie are sisters and they go to this newly legalized collective dreaming shindig Guess who breaksall the barrie [...]

    3. THREE AND A HALF TO FOUR STARS I ve always been an unapologetic Inception fan and so when I read the blurb for this book, there was no way that I could pass on it And I was not disappointed at all, not only did it bring all my Inception feels to the fore but it also had me drowning in its own feels as this book had its own style, despite there being similarities within the dream world and concept.Darkness Falls is a paranormal romance that is set in what seems like a contemporary future Reve, th [...]

    4. Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION s Pack Alpha Chelle Oh my sweet Goddess, this book I purposely hadn t read the blurb, and when I started reading and was thrown head first into this stellar new world, I could only gasp I actually went outside to relay the concept to my other half who could have cared less because I simply had to tell someone Remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books where you could pick different outcomes Have you ever had a serial dream one where you dream a continuing sto [...]

    5. This book was not at all what I was expecting, but it was interesting It is the first of a series There is a major cliffhanger, and it is a very short read.I shelved it as psychic, but it isn t true to the definition of that word There is a new ability where you can share dreams, which opens up all kinds of possibilities But it also opens up all kinds of dangers too There are police for the dreams, but things happen One issue I had was the mc s attitude when she is told that her life as she knew [...]

    6. Loved it I fell in LOVE with Erin Kellison after being introduced to her Shadow Series 2 years ago, so I was pretty excited to read a new series from her The Reveler Series did not disappoint As a novella series, I knew that I would fly through each book, so I decided to wait a little while before starting them With 4 books in the series out now, I thought that it would be a good time to start Well, in just 2 days I have completed the first two books and have already started reading the third Da [...]

    7. I like the idea behind this series A LOT That said, I thought the ending was incredibly abrupt Not only in terms of not tying up the overall arc I m assuming that carries over into the next book , but in terms of how the relationship between Malcolm and Jordan played out Everything seemed to be moving forward and working nicely and then, BOOM, they re together and that s that.Okay, wait It s not so much that they were together let s be honest, I expected that , but that we got no closure to Malc [...]

    8. I like the premise but I find myself getting lost in the story Like are the events happening in the now or is it in this other plane DARKNESS FALLS is making me insecure like I feel dumb for not getting much of the story Psychic fantasies are tricky like that I guess, there s so many shifts that could happen without much preamble.

    9. I love Erin s books and Darkness Falls, book 1 of the Reveler series, was no exception From the first page, I was swept into this lush new world involving shared dreaming, a pop culture phenomenon I couldn t put it down

    10. This series must be read in order This is the first book.At first I didn t understand what was going on Much like Jordan I did not know what to make of the phenomenon of the Revelers but I was nonetheless sucked into the story from the very beginning The author made me feel Jordan s apprehension and unease before I even knew what the wonder drug actually was That is awesome writing for sure.Rook on the other hand I could not bring myself to distrust even when he distrusted himself lol I could ju [...]

    11. This one is going to be hard for me to review In fact, this author was the reason I wanted to review this group of novellas Her Shadow books are one of my favorite series In this start of a series, it was a short read, but not always an easy one The world was hard to follow but after a while, you did get used to some of it and so some of it flowed even though you didn t quite feel like you had a complete grasp of what was going on I feel that this will clear up as the series goes on It was also [...]

    12. This is the first time reading this author and I was drawn to this by the genre and the blurb It seemed alittle different than most and after reading alot of paranormal that is the hunt Not really knowing what to expect I dive in and right away this author is able to snare me with the characters she has created and brought to life What they are doing is very intriguing and you plunge forward wanting to know about this dream world and what it is they are actually doing Blends it fantastically wit [...]

    13. I went into this book thinking that it was going to be a paranormal story so I was a little confused by the premise But once I figured out what was going on it s of a sci fi story then I was totally on board I really like the connection between Rook and Jordon and I look forward to seeing what happens in the next book.

    14. I have mixed feelings about this one but it was enough to pull my stars to round up to a four The beginning of the story is what really brings me to low the ratings Too much is not explained well To modify that statement, I mean that even though much information is covered in the first part, there is way too much important information left out or with little in depth explaining to move forward without feeling a bit unsatisfied An easier way of explaining myself, would be to say that if a story w [...]

    15. I received this ebook for review from the publishers via Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review I was in no way compensated for this review.I adore Erin Kellison s Shadow and Shadow Kissed series, so this new series she wrote definitely piqued my curiosity Darkness Falls is definitely a different kind of read, there are no paranormal creatures running about, but there s still an element of magic, of other, of some pretty weird stuff So it definitely had a lot of appeal going for it from the [...]

    16. 3 3.25 So I like this author s writing style Though she is a fairly new to me author, I liked her Dragon series enough to see what else she had out thered this was the series I chose to give a chance Now, this is bad on mee I didn t do my homework and it turns out this is a serial than a set of novellas I don t like serialsjust saying But I was on a plane and it s what I had downloaded on my Paperwhite. This is a really cool concept I can t say I ve read anything quite like it The whole interact [...]

    17. Really interesting dreamscape and the people who work in it Something called the R ve has taken the world by storm Often called the new drug , Revelers are in a craze, oftentimes selling everything they own just to be part of another R ve The R ve is a dream world where participants are actively involved in cognitive, lucid dreaming in this world, they can be who they want, do what they want and interact with other Revelers It s almost like real life, being that they are lucid and aware, yet asl [...]

    19. This paranormal romance is a mesmerizing journey into the fascinating world of dreams, fantasies, desires and different realities Agent Malcolm Rook is recruiting dream masters for Chimera and Jordan Lane is undeniably gifted but wary, but soon the dreamwaters proves too exhilarating and their passions ignite, but delving too deep stirs up a nightmare they must defeat or be lost forever in darkness. This fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers on their toes with suspense, fantasy, drama [...]

    20. 3.5 Darkness Stars Darkness Falls is book one in the Reveler series by Erin Kellison I m not sure how I feel about this I m not a big fan of things that do with the mind, dreaming, and or time travel I always feel there is to much to take in and to many options Darkness Falls is about dreaming, living a life within your dreams It s a shot read, but not an easy one I had a hard time following the world at times, eventually I got use to it and some things flowed even though I did not have a comple [...]

    21. Darkness Falls by Erin KellisonGiven this book free for a review.Jordan Lane is going to a Reve with her little sister, Maisie Lane, she is not sure of this group dreaming thing but she isn t about to let her sister go alone At 21, Miaise jumps into anything new regardless of the danger Malcom Rook, alias for this mission is Micheal Reese, is looking for new talent to work in the Reves to protect them from intruders and hunt criminals in their dreams He spots Miaise at once as one who will take [...]

    22. Sexy, dark, and edgy Just my cup of tea I really enjoyed this story It took me by surprise, but I was hooked right from the beginning I was immediately swept up in the world Ms Kellison has created and absolutely loved the concept The premise is fresh and original and kept me totally involved from beginning to end The idea of dream sharing sounds so cool That s what happens in Darkness Falls Jordan only wants to protect her sister, Maze, so she agrees to go to the Reve with her and enter into th [...]

    23. All about dreams, living a life within your dreams can be fun or very dangerous as Jordan will soon find out Jordan is a older sister of Massie Massie talks Jordan in a night of fun by going to a Reve Little does Jordan know that her night of fun wasn t going to end like she would like Her sister is up to dealing with people on the wrong side of dreams Jordan s talent is felt seen by Rook a agent, with a talent to master dreams A attraction sparks between Jordan and Rook, as he tries to protect [...]

    24. Sexy, Dark, Edgy Complicated DARKNESS FALLS by Erin Kellison is the first book in Erin s new Reveler series I would highly recommend that this series be read in order as there is a rather involved continuing story and interconnected characters who figure prominently in each book. There s quite a bit of darkly intricate information crammed into these 115 pages and I have to admit to being initially somewhat puzzled by it all Still this story served as a good set up for the series and I really like [...]

    25. Erin Kellison has created an interesting world in which Revelers dream walkers can enter R ve shared dreams Initially, I found the story to be a bit confusing It s a short book 120p , so I expected things to be made clearer sooner Words were used to describe the world and the characters, but there was no explanation for the words, if that makes sense Once I had a better understanding of the world, the story moved rather quickly and I enjoyed the ride I m fascinated by the idea of interacting wit [...]

    26. Copy was provided for honest review This story really took me by surprise but WOW, I absolutely loved everything about his story line It is different well written and such a fast paced read Erin writing is unusual but not even in a bad way I feel in love with the characters and was sad to see it finish The dream realm and the story behind it isn t like anything i have had the pleasure to read Erin has a new fan in me and I can not wait to see what will happen next It makes me wish I had one of t [...]

    27. I received this novel in exchange for an honest review Darkness Falls by Erin Kellison was a short, sweet, sexy read Did the cover catch your eye You should check out what s inside the cover This was the first in the Reveler series and I would certainly pick the next up If you re a fan of Paranormal with some sauce, this one is for you I loved the world the author built with dreaming, etc It was unique and made this fast paced and hard to put down Very enjoyable

    28. Good but shortThe story was new and exciting It definitely draws you in quickly The first book 8 chapters I got free but there are 4 out I imagine they are just as short While I really enjoyed where the plot was going I can t justify 12 currently 2.99 each I ll keep my eyes open for a sale for certain.

    29. It took a while for me to get in to this one The characters were well done, and the world is well thought out, but it seemed like it took a long time to get moving Now that I m in to it though, I m looking forward to reading book 2.
