    1. I know this was a novella but it was still a lot shorter than I was expecting I wish it had been a full length novel because it had so much potential.

    2. Really enjoyed this little story expecially with me being a bronte fan, jane eyre being a favourite The truth is i d have loved it to be a full novel as it was a great storyline Highly recommend

    3. This is a very short story, and consequently I felt there was very little time or effort spent to really develop anything about the characters or the romance This story trades on the fact that you are already familiar with the novel Jane Eyre because that way the reader can fill in the details of the romantic hero s Henry s character I found there was little to interest me in this ebook sadly It was only because it was so short that I found it a quick read, but there is hardly anything unique ab [...]

    4. A fun, albeit short, book that whisks the reader from wherever they are to the York Moors for a modern retelling of Jane Eyre.

    6. Review This was a gorgeous little novella which I actually read with my mum because she is also a Trisha Ashley Fan This novella leads nicely into the authors new book Every woman for herself and yet has depth itself to work as a complete standalone novella This would also serve well as an introduction to Ashley s writing because this has the style with is indicative of her other novels and has the same feeling and setting that readers come to expect from a Trisha Ashley book The characters in t [...]

    7. This is actually my first reading of Tricia Ashley s work and happily it hasn t put me off her work, because I know that the only reason I scored it as a 3 instead of a 5 is because it is so short, had Tricia been able to lengthen the plot out, it would have made some truly magical reading for anyone who has a soft spot for Mr Rochester A real treat of a short e story from Tricia, and I can t wait to read some of her work of a lengthier I love how the story began with the character being a wri [...]

    8. I m kind of late to the party with Trisha Ashley s work, but with what I ve read so far I haven t been disappointed Since purchasing my Kobo last July I have read a lot short stories A lot of which I would never have had the chance to do so as they are only e books It upsets and kind of annoys me when I read reviews that say it wasn t long enough It s a short story, it s supposed to be devoured quickly Having nearly stopped breathing whilst reading my last read I needed to read something lighte [...]

    9. Eleri has bought a mixed box at an auction and one of the surprises she finds inside is a book filled with memoirs They aren t very interesting, but there is one fantastic thing on the last page It even makes her to book a holiday in a cottage on a remote farm in Yorkshire straight away There isn t much to do there, but as Eleri is a writer, she loves the silence and being closed off from the rest of the world for a little while It s giving her inspiration for her novel So much that she decides [...]

    10. It was a very cute story, but way too short to charge 1.99 1 2 chapters worth, took me about 20 mins to read Half of e book was story, half filler opening chapters of a book I already own.Publisher This is not good customer service I feel I ve been bait and switched.Re read 5 4 17 because characters were in her new book that I just read Yes, still too short Pleasant reading, but just a teaser.

    11. A really nice, fun quick read that has really whetted my appetite for Trisha s new novel I didn t dare read the preview of the new book at the end because they always make me so frustrated with having to wait to find out what happens next The story is great fun though and feels just like her novels, which short stories don t always do.

    13. Eleri Groves is a Bronte fan she tries to write her new book on this history of the bronte.d one day she decides to go to the place emily bronte favorites but Eleri doesn t expect to find her mr rochester there during her vacation at this place s a nice story well written and we love the way eleri becomes part of her book

    14. Doesn t read like Trisha AshleyDoesn t read like Trisha AshleyI know it is very hard to get a novella to hit all the same great moments the author reaches in all of her books But it can t all go missing and just be flat I was disappointed.

    15. This was a great short story by Trisha Ashley, one of the authors I am always on the lookout for It was a sweet story with ties about Bronte and Jane Erye If you need a quick escape this is sure to be your solution

    16. A lovely quick read but I felt that the story could of been expanded as to what happened with George and his cousin

    17. Um pequeno conto de Trisha Ashley, com uma hist ria encantadora, que mais desenvolvida daria um belo romance.Gostei, bem ao estilo da autora.

    18. Great foundation for a story, especially Jane Eyre fans But found what was actually written very lacking even if was meant to be a short story Ho hum.

    19. For a short story it was very good I wish it would have been expanded to a novella or full length novel I will look for books by this author.

    20. A lovely quick read, will Eleri finally find her perfect Mr Rochester Wish it could have been longer as it was all over far too quickly and I wanted to know

    21. Has author Eleri really found her very own Mr Rochester, up in the wilds of Yorkshire A cosy, quick read with a lovely setting and appealing main character And a very intriguing hero
