    1. Trixie, Honey, and Regan are in Minnesota to observe some horse training techniques Trixie hears the local legend of a galloping ghost, and when weird things start happening, she begins to think it might be true Can she figure out what is really going on Many fans of the series don t like this one, and I can see their complaints, especially if they paid a lot of money for it It s the final book, but we only get three regular characters Of course, it wasn t supposed to be the final book Honey als [...]

    2. Really That s what we get for the final book Only Trixie, Honey, and some Reagan in Minnesota with a ghost that s obviously not a ghost Sigh Recommended 10 for scary situations, ghosts, and hint of teen romance.

    3. Not nearly as good as earlier ones No mention that the Wheelers also have a horse named Jupiter No teasing of Honey because of her crush And heck MORE Bill Didn t they remember that Regan s first name is Bill Sigh.

    4. A lot of people don t like that the series ended without all the Bob Whites I don t either, but I can see the nice reflection on the beginning of the series, when it s also just Honey and Trixie at the very beginning I m also guessing the series wasn t specifically intended to end but just ran out of steam and audience I m much bothered that they ended with 39 instead of a nice rounded 40 LOL Like the horses in this one hey, it was one of the main draws for me as a girl that horses were so ofte [...]

    5. As the last of the series, I have to say I almost didn t want to read it I wanted to preserve the magic that I had been living for a good 8 years But I read it, and although I want to say it was a little disappointing that the series ended not only without all the Bob Whites, but also 39 instead of 40, it was still a great read and a great conclusion to the series I liked the last little paragraph of the book where Trixie said that she knows what she believes I believe that Trixie Belden will al [...]

    6. My husband bought this one for our first year anniversary, I was so excited to have a copy as I never could find one in the bookshops when I was young and wanting to collect them all The young me loved these books so much I would save my pocket money to buy one every few weeks, reading it on the car trip home from town I still love them They still transport me back to those childhood memories I have Thanks Trixie for all you gave me.

    7. Summer of Trixie is officially over I will miss you Trixie and all the rest of the Sleepyside ganguntil next time Looking forward to reading other things.

    8. Okay, I ve finished reading the 39 published Trixie Belden novels I can t help but believe that the series ceased publication with the wrong book No Jim, Brian, Mart, Di, or Dan except for brief mentions And the story read like the Nancy Drew books where either Bess or George but not both would assist Nancy in solving the mystery It s a shame that the books being prepared weren t released so that at least one novel featuring all of the Bob Whites of the Glen ended the series.

    9. Officially the last and only one in the series I hadn t read, so it was a little bittersweet There s definitely a tendency near the end of the series for the ghostwriters to leave out Bob Whites rather than juggling all of them so it was a little sad to get a Trixie and Honey only adventure Also, note the hilariously wrong pic on this listing, heh.

    10. a HUGE and most dedicated fan of Trixie and her crew This is odd, of course, because they were MEANT for teen and pre teen girls, but I was a young boy that read everything he could get his hands on and when I first stumbled on my first TRIXIE BELDON book I was instantly hooked I immediately sat about reading them all, as quickly as I could get my greedy little paws on them Trixie is the star, or lead character, followed by Jim and Honey who quickly became the love of my young life, I had a tota [...]

    11. This was another enjoyable story, only Trixie and Honey were in this one, which made it not as enjoyable as when the gang is together these later books are beginning to get repetitive, so I m happy to have finished the series this time around, and will move on to something else now All the same, I m quite sure I ll be back to Trixie and her friends sometime in the future.

    12. What a disappointing end to an overall fantastic series This has to be my least favorite book Hopefully they didn t know they would be ending it, otherwise why would they end the series without all the Bobwhites being in it Nothing sat right with this book, especially the ghost hunter It just was not a good showing of a great series and it s sad it ended on such a bad book.

    13. I need to check my box and see if I own this one The last couple of books in the series are apparently hard to find I think interest in Trixie Belden was dwindling by the mid 1980s I m guessing book 39 s print run was low But TB, Honey and gang will always have a special place in my heart.

    14. Sure, Trixie Belden is for 4th graders of an era long gone, but my nine year old self loved this book all about horses and a legendary ghost I only need one book to complete my TB collection

    15. I love Trixie I think I was her in my prevous life, if that type of thing exists And Honey is so good with the fellas

    16. Trixie Belden was one of my earliest great media obsessions I absolutely adored all of the books and desperately wanted to be Trixie.

    17. I own all 39 Trixie Belden books and loved reading them as a young girl I would highly recommend them to all.
