    1. I don t quite understand why there aren t reviews on this book, but it kind of makes me want to cry Sigh Without going into too much of a rant this is exactly the kind of book I ve been looking for It s a book about a girl and a boy There is plot, conflict, interest, and intrigue, and it ends in a Happily ever after as the cover tells us it will and the main female character happens to be African American End of rant and on to the actual book.I enjoyed this story and not because I ve finally fou [...]

    2. 3.5 This book is a sweet, super short read that will leave readers in a good mood I did have certain issues with how glossed over parts of it was Their differing races is maybe mentioned once, while other parts of their character, like Matthew s family having less money than Corinne, are given way attention Coming from a book that was dominated by racial commentary as well as well painted relationship, this seemed strange Overall I enjoyed it It hits all of your cheesy romance wants while not r [...]

    3. In these last few days of summer, I ve been feeling especially compelled to read light, fluffy romance novels This is in part summer nostalgia but also, and I think this might be the larger part, because light fluffy romances are always good for getting me through a reading slump I m still not out of the forest, but I can see the edge of the trees. This novel was given to me by a friend who assured me that it was cute, almost tooth achingly so, and that it was, but what really caught my eye was t [...]

    5. Corrine and Matthew are both in the same art class but Corrine focuses on traditional art styles and Matthew tends toward non traditional styles Matthew is a jock and Corrine is a strong academic student When Corrine and Matthew are selected to co create a piece of art together for a contest, they must find a way to combine their styles and get along In the process of finding artistic common ground, they realize they have in common then they thought A sweet, light romance.

    6. 2.5 The plot had potential, but it was extremely predictable and the writing was too cheesy for my taste Also, I don t like how the characters were written If these people existed irl they wouldn t be so obnoxiously naive about feelings after reading a few romance books, tropes get tiring real quick I do not hate it though, so don t let my rating fool you.

    7. A nice cute Romantic novel for younger readers but, if you re above the age of 14 I would not recommend this book I like that it featured an interracial couple Afro American girl and Caucasian boy something that is unusual but very much needed in YA fiction.

    8. Sometimes, simple is better This book was so simple, but so sweet I genuinely just enjoyed it Everything worked out fine That s all I have to say If you re looking for something explosive, I wouldn t recommend it But if you re down for a chill, relaxing read, I think you d like it.

    9. I loved this book it was awesome. It is a love story between 2 characters and they end up having to work together on a art project and they are both very different in their ideas This brings them together and closer and towards the end they finally get together.

    10. Love this Couldn t put this down until I read it twice A Destiny has a way with her words Truly inspiring in every way Have to read the other books in the series D

    11. 2.5 stars for this simple, sweet summer romance A little too simple for me but a nice, easy read I appreciate the diverse characters and the focus on visual arts.
