    1. This collects four plays previously published separately in excellent New Mermaid editions with a new introduction by Emma Smith that looks at these plays and the portrait of women on early modern stages.

    2. Purchased purely for this version of the Witch of Edmonton, I found the annotations well integrated and easy to follow The play itself is humorous but also rather cynical, and having read Malfi previously, I m interested to go back and pick up the other two as well.
