    1. Having some experience with Scala, I was looking for a short introduction into F with the focus on F syntax to get up to speed quickly The first half of the book is actually quite good for that The second half the practical one , however has put me off I was skipping obvious examples while scanning for new language concepts and have probably missed some Nonetheless I liked the book as an easy to follow tutorial into F.

    2. F is a functional language The book provides examples of using F for standard applications like web forms where C or VB are quite suitable rather than cases where F s distinctive features would be better suited than an imperative language.

    3. Pretty good intro Everything you need to know to get started.Last chapters, really condense examples of complex appliciations, could be better though.
