    1. I love how absolutely shocked Liz is that Jessica wants to join a beauty pageant Uh, have you MET your sister I also love that this first annual contest is never, ever mentioned again after this book.

    3. This book was the periodic sister vs sister novel, where Elizabeth and Jess were divided over the issue of beauty pageants I liked that it was an issue to be tackled and that both Jessica and Elizabeth had relevant points about beauty pageants as a whole.Elizabeth was at her stubborn pigheaded best, while I had a little bit sympathy for Jess on this one Of course, there is always the case of Jess getting what she wants but not exactly with the outcome she expected.
